Coin #1 in Barry's study

As with the previous example, the same principle can be used to identify the Wide Date varieties. In this situation, the size of the gap between the Stem and the "4" and the "0" to the "N", is nearly the same. Also, the separation between the "4" and the "0" is slightly greater than that of the Narrow Date but in this case, it should only be considered as a very minor secondary feature for the purpose of recognizing this variety!
