1894 Newfoundland 10 Cents
Victoria · 2 varieties · study revised July 22nd 2020
The 1894 NFLD 10 Cent coins were minted with both a Portrait 2 and Portrait 3 likeness of Queen Victoria, however, since only one example of the Portrait 2 is known to exist, then the probability of finding any more of these is very remote! With this being the case, then the next possibility is to find some variations within the Portrait 3 group of coins. As luck would have it, a second variety did appear but this variance is very subtle. As with most things, it is always possible that other variations will be discovered and eventually recorded.
