Coin #2 in Barry's study

This particular variety is relatively easy to identify with its recognizably, Re-engraved “S” (in “CENTS”). The date in this case, has been punched with two Uneven “4’s”, with the second “4” being positioned noticeably Lower than the first numeral of this pair. As a general comparison to some of the other varieties for this date, there are no Die Polishing Lines to be found on the Reverse Surface. The early population statistics on this variety would suggest that it is a very scarce variation.
