Coin #2 in Barry's study

This second variety can also be easily identified by the location of the Mint Mark "H". In this case, it can be found above and a little Farther to the Left of the Letter "N" and Closer to the base of the Queen's bust than it is with the previous variety. The "2" in the Date is a little more to the Right of the "7", leaving a Wider gap between these two numerals and it is also slightly to the Right of the base of the "T", located directly above it. However, the major difference with this second variety lies with the Letter "N" (in the word "CENTS"), which has been very Heavily Re-engraved. Just above the Base of the Left Leg of the "N", are two Appendages, one on either side, giving it the appearance of two supporting Buttresses.
