Coin #3 in Barry's study

The second of these Narrow Date varieties shares the same similarity of having its "1" positioned closer to the front face of the Decorative Loop, as with the previous example. However, the spacing between the "9" and "4" in the date, is noticeably Narrower than that of the first variety. In this instance, the "9" and "4" have been punched Closer to each other than for any of its other relatives. Finally, it should be mentioned that the "4" on all of the coins examined from this sub-variety, shows subtle signs of Re-punching.
