Narrow Date, High, Even "43"
1943 Newfoundland 5 Cents · George VI
This is the first of the Wide Angle "3" varieties, which in some respects, is very similar to the first Narrow Angle "3" variances. In both instances, they have Narrow Dates which have been punched with High, Even "43's". However, unlike the First variety, this example does not appear to exhibit any Die Clashes, but it does have an irregular series of Die Polishing Lines which generally run Downward to the Right on its Reverse surface.
