Coin #1 in Barry's study

This is the first example of two known Narrow "43" varieties, which in this instance, differs from its companions by the positioning of its Mint Mark "C". With this particular variance, the "C" is located slightly Farther from the "T" (in CENT) and a little Higher above the Denticles, than it is with the following variations. Also, it should be mentioned that there are no obvious signs of any alterations having been made to the Numbers in the date. This is in direct contrast to the following two varieties which display some subtle hints of Repunching.
